Generation Internet: Amateurism & Your Teenager
What if YouTube was pornographic?
Amateurism pornography is growing at a very rapid rate and we are facing an epidemic of amateurism pornography, imagine You Tube for porn with teenagers being most susceptible, where it is OK, even encouraged for anyone and everyone to post videos of themselves performing sexually. Cyber-culture is subtly suggesting norms to the younger generations which are certainly not normal.
The “porn is the norm” culture is a way away for the majority of people that were not teenagers during generation Internet or generation y as generation x likes to call them. But for teenagers growing up today, porn is much more the norm and selling; that is advertising and marketing is gun ho about sex in media, if porn helps my cause then hell yeah lets get yo donkey on. More susceptible teenagers are less able to judge morally or understand the benefits of morality and the direction it provides to their overall lifestyle. Standards of morality are low or absent.
Porn is evolving and how is it evolving, like from the cinema screen to video it is evolving towards amateurism, that is "normal everyday people" being filmed during sexual intercourse by people who have some game about finding people to have sex with, they may own a boat, or have a big penis, use a spy camera, target a particular group or some other gimmick, and they cause huge frenzy of interest when done right. This porn evolution runs parallel with the latest fetish which makes most curious and captivates a minority but unlike the latest fetish it is targeted towards amateurs or people in society not veteran pornography actors. Make no mistake social networking and interaction like MySpace, creating amateur video using relatively cheap digital cameras and anonymous submitted media sites like YouTube are popular, pornography runs somewhat parallel to these trends, their is the other side it's called amateurism and it is lurking and increasing in the shadows creating a more "porn is the norm" era and introducing a new beast "everyone does porn is the norm" culture.
So what do you get when you cross amateurism, social networking, you tube and teenagers who live in a porn is the norm culture. A highly explosive cocktail that just may go BOOM!, everyones a pornstar. This is what is happening now and may quite possibly increase exponentially in the future.
There are several mechanisms slowing the effect globally. Education, moraliy, law... education is key with modern morality being positive, being intellectual with clear direction and goals, replacing shame, fear and secrets. The law no not because US 18+ law spans the globe but because the US produces vastly more porn that world combined, although the 18+ law is easily circumvented and their are many under 18 pornographers on the Internet, and it is vastly unpoliced.
The US ought to create a price index balanced system (similar to raising or lowering interest rates) of permits and licenses for porn movie production and for those people appearing in such movies to about 60% on the worlds porn production, and ultimately down to about 40% to 50% of the world porn movie production with emphasis placed upon anti-amateurism and favor based upon a select group of porn movie makers and a select group of porn movie actors. Therefore every porn movie produced in the US must have a permit and those people appearing in the movies must have a license to do so as an independant process. The price of the permits regulates the amount of porn produced and who appears in them. The task force enforcing the law needs to be and is kept well funded with the funds from porn permits and the collections from breaches in the law meaning huge fines equal to revenue generated if more than fine amount and future applications for porn permits in jeopardy. Actors who appear without permits will also incur massive fines, allowing the US to limit the amount of movies made per year and the number of people involved in the industry.
Today anyone can create a sex film clip and post it online without any regulatory requirements, anyone can appear in the sex film clip without any registeration/permit to do so. I am suggesting that people at home are not allowed to create a porn film clip using their digital camera and post it on a server accessible from the world wide web without a permit to broadcast material that may not be suitable to minors who have precedance.
Hopefully eXclu$ive will not mean more Paris Hilton sex tapes.

The aim is tell the porn industry that people and especially teenagers who are guilty of naivity in a porn is the norm culture are not free game to the sex industry.
